  47. links by a simple drag and drop. The advantage of hypertext is that 
  48. you can jump from note to note by double-clicking on these links. In 
  49. WhizNotes' hypertext scheme, any note which is not already open is 
  50. opened for you and if the note is contained in another folder, even that 
  51. folder is opened for you. AND THAT IS NOT ALL! WhizNotes is also a Help 
  52. authoring system. Turn your notes into "WINDOWS hypertext help" easily

  66. SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

  68. WhizNotes can run on Windows 3.1, Windows 95, or later. For authoring 
  69. Windows Help files with WhizNotes, you'll need to additionally install 
  70. Microsoft help compiler 3.1, or later. For more details on compilers, 
  71. please see the online help topic "Setting up the Help Compilation 
  72. environment."

  75. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
  76.  
  77. 1. Run the Setup program provided with WhizNotes by double-clicking on
  78.    SETUP.EXE in the Explorer or File Manager.
  79.  
  80. 2. Enter your name and other information as desired then push "Proceed
  81.    with Installation".
  82.  
  83. 3. Follow the prompts till the "Installation Complete" message appears.
  84.  
  85. Setup will add a WhizNotes group and icon in the program manager. By
  86. default, WhizNotes will be installed in the directory C:\WHIZNOTS, but
  87. Setup allows you to change it.

  89. RUNNING THE PROGRAM:   
  90.    On Windows 95: You can always run the program from Start menu:
  91.    "Start-Programs-WhizNotes-WhizNotes". 
  92.    
  93.    On Windows 3.1: You can always start the program from the Program
  94.    Manager's program group "WhizNotes" which is created for you.
